In the spirit of National Day, I've "interviewed" 31 people, 1 for each day of the month of August. Some are young, some are young at heart. Some are married, some are not. Some have kids, some are kids. What ties them and us all together is that we are all either Singaporeans, or are living in Singapore.

| "What I find weird about Singapore? Honestly? Well, I can think of a number of things just like that, but on the top of my list surely is the ice cream! Alamak, why ah? Well, in basically any country I know, 1 scoop is $1, 2 scoop is $2, etc. You know, stuff that makes sense to ordinary people. Here however the maths are seriously screwed. 1 Scoop is about $5 or so, 2 Scoops is $6 maybe. Every stall, every brand. How's that for making sense!" |
